Scentwork Course

Scentwork is so valuable for dogs, exercising their super sniffing system is physically and mentally enriching.

During the sessions we will work on active and passive hides and how to identify specific scents. This course is suitable for those on the start of their scentwork journey.

The course is suitable for dogs aged 6 months and upwards, who can cope working in a group environment.

Scentwork Workshops

We run beginner and improver workshops.

Beginner - This workshop is open to all those that are at the start of their scentwork journey. Your dog will learn how to search for a particular scent (usually cheese) and will work through active and passive searches.

Improver - This workshop is open to those who have attended a scentwork workshop or course with us previously. We will introduce your dog to a new scent, polish your passive indication skills and then add everything together and start practising your teamwork with some fun searches. Sometimes the second half of the day is on location (10 minutes from our coaching centre) where we will include vehicle and farmyard searches, this will be detailed in the booking listing if that's the case.
